Hi Isabelle

No you can't - the heading numbers in DOORS Next are completely automatically generated and this can't be overridden.

A module is usually used to represent a single document - so one Word document import per module is appropriate.

You could upload each Word document into an artifact, but this doesn't give you easy linking to individual paragraphs, and is anyway not so different from importing each document into a module, apart from being a lot less usable.

What's your situation that makes you want to hold multiple documents in a module?

Hi Ian,

Thank you very much for the answer.
My situation is that I an importing a client package of 5000 pages in DNG, I need it all in one module because I need to parse  at  attribute level  , and create view based on owner, so I can actually export back  selected artifacts to each  teams .

My plan is to go back to old ways :  export PDF/ Word to EXCEL , massage the text , add an attribute for the section numbers/ titles hierarchy, remove all heading rows, import EXCEL/ CSV and add all images manually as needed. <o:p> </o:p>

Thanks a again
