How to establish a link between a thick client(SystemWeaver) and CCM.

I am trying to integrate CCM with System Weaver application. System Weaver is a thick client and I came to know that we cant establish the bi directional link form CCM to System Weaver. I am able to fetch the workitems created in CCM to SystemWeaver, when I click on the workitems in System Weaver it is taking me to CCM, in the same way I need to navigate from CCM to System Weaver. Please let me know the possible ways.

The EWM Link mechanism is based on HTTP URI's and the standard implementation for opening URI's.
There is no way I would be aware to open a 3rd party thick client using HTML links, I would b e aware of. There are no examples I am aware of.
