Weight Distribution field in RQM is not updating as expected.

 Hi Team,

1. We are using RQM for testing related tasks. We have test suites in which around 100 test cases are present. for any time we don't want to run all 100. In which around 95 are not applicable and for 5 it is pass/fail results. So to run this we make all 100 as not applicable first. So is there any option to make only 95 as not applicable in one shot. and take only 5 which are applicable?

2. In same scenario, we are manually changing remaining 5 test cases out of 100 as pass/fail. Now in test suit execution result, in weight distribution tab, it is expected to see the distribution for those 5 test cases in pass and fail block. but, here all 100 points are distributed only for "inconclusive" option and all other options are having 0 weightage. As per the result it should distributed in pass/fail blocks but all points are allocated to inconclusive option. Can you please help me to find why this is happening? and suggest the solution.

Thanks

Hi K P,

For this scenario you can skip the test cases from Test Suite Run dialog. Just select the Test Cases from the list on the Test Suite Run dialog page and click on Exclude from execution icon. The the execution will only include those 5 test cases that you want should be included.

Thanks,
Monika Rajput
