What is the logic behind calculating "Time Spent" attribute in RTC?

 Hi Team,

We have "Time Spent" attribute in RTC and we want to know the logic for calculating the value of that attribute in RTC.
When we create a report the value of that attribute is displaying. So how the tool is calculating the value of that attribute?
Please assist.

If you work in time spent mode, you enter a number of hours spent and that is the number you get. There is nothing more to it as far as I can tell.

If you work in time remaining mode (see product documentation), the number of time spent is calculated like

time-spent = estimate - time remaining.

The estimate is the original estimate or the corrected estimate.
