IBM DNG 6061 can we merge artifacts?

 Hello, 

for formatting proposes and speed up the clean-up of the artifacts, is there a way to merge 2 or more artifacts in 1 or separate a text in multiple artifacts like in Doors Classic? for DNG 606 or 701 ?

 There is a 'Split and Join' extension that might do what you want

I have found that you need to be careful using it because it is possible to try to join artifacts that you did not intend to and then lose the attributes associated with the now deleted artifacts
