Are you on Windows? If so, you can look at the install manager logs here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\Installation Manager\logs
With that, you should be able to find an "Error" entry corresponding to the NullPointerException. Hopefully there will be additional information on what caused the NPE. Failing that, you should be able to at least get some context of what the installer was trying to do when the NPE occurred. If you post that info here we should be able to help you out.

Has anyone come across this problem when installing RQM 2.0.0.1? Going through IBM Installation Manager, when starting the install, I get the following error message: "An internal error occurred during: 'Install Packages.'

java.lang.NullPointerException

Any ideas on how to resolve this error message would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
