The JKE Banking Example Buid is broken for EWM 6.0.6.1 and 7.0 how can I fix it?

There is a defect in the JKE Banking Sample introduced with 6.0.6.1 that breaks the JBE based Java builds. An additional issue was introduced in 7.0. How can that be fixed?
