If LDAP is used, the password is maintained in LDAP and nowhere else. So the change of the password is done in LDAP and Jazz has nothing to do with it. Thus, there is no alternate account needed. Not sure what led to the conclusions that drive the question.

when we replaced existing account with new AD admin account while running jts/setup, it gives error(unable to perform the user synchronise operation). We have resolved this issue by assigning licenses to default account (ADMIN).Hence wanted to know If there is any other alternate way to change password for the existing AD account without using alternate account?
