Regarding Quick Search section in DNG

 I have custom attribute of type string. For values of the attribute, I have entered few of them with numbers and few of them with alpha numeric.


Using Quick search, if I try searching number in the attribute, the quick search is not fetching any result.
But if I search using the alphanumeric, it fetches results.
Is this a bug or the DNG or expected tool behavior?

This caught my eye and you're right. Interestingly, if you use the filter field "Type to Filter by Text or by ID" within a Folder or with no folder selected, then it does return the artifacts with a numeric value in the string Attribute.  I expected the same result as Quick Search but that was not the case.

Artifact 1 = String Attribute:  A5450021
Artifact 2 = String Attribute:  5450021  

If I search using 5450021 then it returns only Artifact 2.
If I search using *5450021 then it returns both Artifact 1 and Artifact 2.
