ReqIF export without images

Nico Pecher (112) | asked Nov 11 '19, 5:51 a.m.
When i export a ReqIF and import it in Doors 9 or view it by a Reqif viewer, the pictures in description and requirements artifacts are missing.

Doors NG to Doors NG is no problem.
But after the import at other platforms, the pictures are missing.

One workaround would be to insert the png as archtecture element, but i need to have a picture inside one description with text above and below.

Does someone know a solution?

Best regards

 Hello

What version of DNG are you using?
What version of DOORS are you using?
Is DNG where you are exporting from?

You may need to open a support case for further evaluation.

 DNG version 6.0.6.1

DOORS version 9.6.1.6

Yes I'm exporting from DNG.
Importing into another project in DNG is no problem.
In Doors 9 and also in a ReqIF viewer, the pictures are not shown after the import...

The pictures are in a description artifact. Maybe is Doors 9 not supporting that the pictures are between text in an artifact?

You may also search jazz.net Requirement Management repository for any existing defects in this area.

Have you tried DOORS 9.7?

Nico Pecher commented Nov 11 '19, 9:58 a.m.

Yes i'm searching but i did'nt found a solution yet.

We do not have Doors 9 at our company. We use DNG, Doors 9 is used by our customer.

Is exporting pictures which are inside a text artifact from Doors NG to Doors 9 working in general or not?
I've seen there are existing in the .reqifz, but it seems that Doors 9 is not recognizing them...
