How to identify link validity between RM (DNG) and an external AM application

We are building an external AM application that integrates with Jazz under GC. When we look at a link AM>RM, then AM owns the link. It is stored on the AM side and RM OSLC queries it whenever needed. Is there a way that the AM side gets notified when the linked RM artifact changes?

Ideally we whould like to be able to highlight a link on the AM side if the linked artifact on the RM side has changed compared to the latest baseline.

There is no such notification from DNG, the ELM RM application.

You could potentially obtain this information from the TRS feed from the RM application, but this probably would be a great deal of implementation effort for a relatively modest gain in functionality.
