What adaptations need to be made to this 1.1.2 report for it to work in RPE 6.0.6?

I'd like to generate a document like the final product being shown here:

My hesitation is that this is for RPE 1.1.2. Would anyone be able to tell me what I'd need to do to generate a document like this using RPE 6.0.6?

In looking for an answer, I've been referencing another article which is a couple years more recent and also pulls execution result data per test case:

This article mentions two ways to extract this data, one which doesn't scale with large amounts of execution results and ones that does. My project area has tens of thousands of execution results, so I would most definitely a solution that scales. This scalable solution involves javascript, which I am not proficient in. Would I happen to be looking at the correct solution here in this second article? If so, does the javascript in the article differ from what would be needed in a 6.0.6 template? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
