Adding Test Case sections (to existing TC's)

Browser Firefox 3.5.3

I have uploaded over 1000 test cases in RQM.

I noticed that when I add the two additional sections in the test case template, they do not get reflected in the existing (over 1000) test cases.

Is there a way I can update the sections in all the existing test cases? (if not from RQM UI, atleast from some backend-xml, DB etc)?

This is exactly what I would like to do. 

I'm now starting to use the Requirement Links section within my test cases and would like to add this section to existing TCs. 
Is this possible  - perhaps programmatically?

This is not supported.  The new sections will only be added to new test artifacts.  In addition, there is no way to manually/programatically add new sections to mulitple test artifacts in bulk.
