Errors when checking in MS Office Docs after update

I've created an RTC 2.0 project which only contains documentation.
I'm able to add MS Office documents, such as Powerpoint, Excel, and
Word to a component, and deliver the adding of documents, but when I
try to make a change to any of them, I get this error when I try to
check-in the changes.
Error during upload
Failed to upload File /MyDocs/Test.ppt
Unable to determine properties for /MyDocs/Test.ppt
Resource is out of sync with the file system:
'/MyDocs/Test.ppt'.

The error message says to reload the workspace which I do, but then I
get the same message when trying to check in a change.

Any thoughts on what is happening. I've tried with word and excel and
get the same error.

I usually find that one can fix this error by applying "refresh" the
file in your Eclipse project (Eclipse doesn't know about the change,
because it was made by a non-eclipse editor).

I've submitted work item 97133 to see if we can get the checkin
operation to automatically refresh in this case, rather than throwing
the error.
