How to show custom reports and queries in dashboard

Hi,

I have created a custom report and a custom query. I want to display the created report and queries on the dashboard.

I tried add viewlets but I couldn't find the one which I created. The viewlet has few default report templates. How do I add mine to that list.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sany,

For RTC 2.0:

Follow these instructions:
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/HowToAddNewDashboardTrendReportsRTC20

For RTC 1.0:

It is not possible.

For Future Releases:

New reports should show up automatically within Dashboards when they are contributed using the Report component facilities - as you would expect.

Sany,

See the following wiki page which describes how to add new dashboard
reports in RTC 2.0:

Hope this helps.

How can I mashup other contents into RTC dashboard? I have some other systems such as RQM which is also based on Jazz framework. I want to display some important contents from these system in our RTC index page.
How?

One of the goals of RTC 2.0.0.1/RQM 2.0.0.1 is to be able to better integrate your servers. You will be able to specify the servers as friends of each other through the admin console. This will allow you to add cross-repository viewlets from the viewlet chooser for the dashboard of your choosing.

Previously on this discussion it says:

"For Future Releases:

Question... how "far" is that "future release"? Any plan?
Thanks

Hi Claudia,

There is no plan in place yet.
However, I'd be surprised if this feature wasn't included in RTC 3.0.

This work item tracks the effort:

64924: Trend Reports Viewlet: Reduce cost of adding new reports
