Reports (PDF) only use DejaVu fonts

Stephan Gambke (134) | asked Oct 04 '18, 11:42 a.m.
I am creating report templates using RPE.

When I use RPE to create reports locally I can use all available fonts (Verdana, Georgia, ...) and they appear correctly in the generated PDF.

When I upload the report template to the server and install it as a report resource the generated PDF contains only DejaVu fonts. (It seems that serif fonts are replaced by DejaVu Serif, sans-serif fonts are replaced by DejaVu Sans Mono)

How do I get the reports generated on the server to use the correct fonts?

RRDG allows specifying the substitution font to use when a given font is not available on the environment. What fonts do you see if you generate Word document? I suppose you are generating document through DNG.

With Word I can use any font, even those not in the dropdown in RPE. Whatever font I specify in RPE is correctly reflected in the generated Word document.
