I am trying to figure out how Teams interact with Timelines in DNG.

It seem as though the intention is that teams can be assigned timelines which I guess means that those teams can only perform their role activities during the timeline - is that correct?

Trying this out:-

I create a timeline TL1

There is a button to set the timeline as the 'project timeline' - what does that mean?

When I go to create a team there is a timeline dropdown. It is already set to TL1. It cannot be set to anything else - i.e. it cannot be set to blank.

So if at least one timeline exists then all teams must have a timeline - would that be correct? and so all editing activity is then constrained by timelines?
