Can we abort execution of repotools-app.bat -rebuildTextIndices command

vikrant kamble (1323897) | asked Jun 17 '18, 7:10 p.m.

I have started executing repotools-qm.bat -rebuildTextIndices command four hours ago and the command is still In Progress. In next two hours our business hours will be starting therefore it is important to start the CLM server. Looking at the execution of command I have a doubt if it will complete in next two hours therefore I am thinking to abort execution of repotools-qm.bat -rebuildTextIndices command. I have a backup of indices before I started running repotools command therefore I am planning to abort execution of current command and restore backup. I will plan to run full text indices command in the future, is it okay if I abort execution of current repotools-qm.bat -rebuildTextIndices command?

Yes, it should be ok to abort the execution and restore the backup.

You may want to increase repotools-qm.bat heap size to your JVM heap size in your next run if you havent done that.
