Effort variance Reports

Hi,
 I am using CLM 6.0.5 (windows). How do i create the the effort variance reports in JRS. So far, i can get the reports only Planned efforts and actual efforts in hrs.but i have to calculate the variance.

2nd question: is there anyway to hide the attributes (columns) in Reports?

 even i'm also looking for the same from JRS. Will IBM Support team answer this query?
