WebSphere + Standalone LDAP, unable to import users into JTS/CCM 6.0.2

Pat Mannion (111) | asked Jun 01 '18, 6:41 a.m.

Hi,
I've setup WebSphere + Standalone LDAP server.
WebSphere was initially configured as a Federated/file based user registry during initial installation and this worked ok. ( I partially ran jts/setup to add a single administrative user)

In WebSphere's ISC:

This would imply WebSphere is reading group/user records from the LDAP server correctly.

However,  in JTS -> Server Administration > Active Users : the import users button is disabled.
("The Import Users button is disabled because the user registry is not queryable and does not support importing users.")

Any ideas what am I missing here ?

1) WebSphere 8.5.5

2) screen capture of  Enterprise Applications > jts_war > Security role to user/group mapping is missing from above, so in words:

In Websphere's ISC: Enterprise Applications > jts_war > Security role to user/group mapping
for the JTS/CCM/QM apps I can map:
JazzAdmins to an LDAP group e.g.
For Role JazzAdmins Mapped LDAP group is  cn=JazzAdmins,ou=groups,dc=<mycompany>,dc=com i.e.
and I can also map LDAP users.
