RQM 2.0 OutOfMemoryError

We have a very active RQM server where one user is loading a very large number of testcases (ie 100,000/hour) and another user is attempting to use the Insight reporting tool. The RQM server periodically stops working and has to be re-started. When this happens I can still remotely connect to the DB2 database so the database appears to be still working OK. When RQM stops working, 4 sets of 3 files are written into to RQM20/server directory:
Snap.*.trc
javacore.*.txt
heapdump.*.phd

In all cases the javacore files indicate java/lang/OutOfMemoryError

Defect 18810 suggests that we may have a memory leak - would it be reasonable to install the iFix, or should I open a new defect first?
