DNG Rich Hover - What are the contents?

Linda Roberts (31310) | asked Apr 25 '18, 3:48 p.m.

When I use Rich Hover over an artifact in DNG (6.0.4), what are all the fields that are shown? In particular, at the top there is the identifier followed by Primary Text. Under that it appears to be a repeat of the Primary Text, or is that another field? It does not seem to change when I update "Name" or "Description."

You should get ID:Name, then followed by Primary Text, Location and finally Attributes. If you have not manually changed the Name already, it is the same as the Primary Text (indicated by the angle brackets). For example, when you open an artifact, if the Name (title) looks like "123: <this is the primary text>", then the Name has not been manually set, and the Primary Text is also "this is the primary text". If you do set the Name manually, you should see this reflected in the rich hover.

We discovered that for artifacts living in a folder, what you said is true.

However, for artifacts in a module, the rich hover gives "Primary Text" twice, no matter what has been done with "Name."
