Artifact type deletion in RM tool and side effect

Does deletion of Artifact type in RM application cause any issues like creating heap dump or java core etc on production server.

No.

If you see that DNG artifact type deletion results in heap dumps/java cores, file a problem with IBM support.

As I recall the system will not let you delete an element of the type system if any artifacts exist that use that element of the type system. That behavior is to avoid the kind of issue you ask about :-)
