Although previous Jazz.net Forum answers discussed whether the Name field is limited to 255 characters, nowhere did I find a post addressing the answer to the question: What is the maximum number of characters allowed in the Name field?
If I am not wrong, it is 256 characters, since it is a text attribute. Also, if you do not specify the name (title), first 256 characters of the primary text (artifact content) will be shown.
