exporting CLM license usage information

I have a client that would like a simple way to know what is the "peak" licenses used each day over all CLM license types. It seems like the data in in the DW, but JRS can't report on JTS data. If its in the DW, is there a way for us to gain access to this license usage data and dump it to CSV/Excel, or XML and review this data with an external tool?
The embedded graphs in JTS are nice visuals for a given license type, but it is difficult to understand the actual number of licenses consumed and there is no way to see a graph that has all licenses types in a single graph/table.

p.s. We are trying to stay away from Rational License key reporting tool as it is something else to install.

Look at this page: Jazz wiki license reporting
In the section Full license usage log, you can see how to enable writing license usage in a CSV format file.

How far back does this capability go? Is this applicable to a 5.0x install?
Will the full license usage log also show who received license denials if there are insufficient number of licenses?

Yes I am quite sure this logging is in 5.x as well.

And it will only show license check-out's and check-in's, it will not show failures on check-out due to no licenses available.
