Can the Data Collection Component be installed as an afterthought
I upgraded to RTC 6.0.3 but don't have a dcc folder in /server, so assume I forgot to install it. Can I install it now?

It can. But it can also be installed in a separate J2EE all alone and registered to the JTS. In fact that is recommended. I have DCC in both situations w/o major concerns.
