Jazz upgrading from m2a to Beta 2 and reptool migration
Hello, I am trying to uograde from Jazz m2A to Jazz Beta 2. My jazz is running on top of WASS using DB2. I have been told that for the migration of my db I have to follow an incremental approach (e.g. from m2A to m3 and finally from m3 to Beta 2).
Is it correct? As first I exported the data using the reptool shipped with Jazz M2A and imported the tar file using the reptool shipped with Jazz M3 in a new DB instance (e.g. JAZZ M3). The export/import process was done having NO ERROR. At that point I installed the new Jazz (M3) on top of WAS. Anything seemed to be ok, but doing a quick functional test i discovered some issue related to the iteration plans. I believe you should be fine using M3. M3a was created to fix a OOME

Hi, the problems you see with opening plans do they go away when you
migrate the M3A data to M4 (beta 2). If not can you provide the stack trace of the M4 server and open a bug report on Jazzdev with that information. Additional information that would be useful to track down the problem: - what happens if you open the plan in the Jazz Rich UI.
