Removing links of Rtc WI from Doors

I have linked a rtc workitem to a doors artifact. After save, I am able to see the links in both the applications which is fine.
When I remove the link of rtc WI from Doors, the doors link is still available in rtc workitem.
Is it a usual behavior or a bug.
