Temperamental OSLC Links from DOORS to Design Manager
We are experiencing an issue where OSLC links are only made at one end. Making a link from Rhapsody to DOORS worked, but the link back in the other direction was not seen, the link could be followed just fine. Then made a link in DOORS and the link is seen from DOORS and can be followed, but we don't see the link at the Rhapsody/ Design manager end. We can fix this issue by getting rid of the Friend Relationship in JTS then making it again and replacing the remote key as appropriate in DOORS, this is unsatisfactory and only works for a few days. Anyone else had this? what should we do to fix it, what could be causing the issue?
We are using Jazz 6.0.2, Doors 9.6.0.1, Rhapsody 8.1.5
One answer
suggesting that you'll open a service request for this as this needs more investigations.
One story is if you link from Rhapsody to DOORS. If Rhapsody says that the link is created successfully do you then see a yellow link indicator in the DOORS object ? If not can you check that Link Discovery is enabled for RDM ? Is the RDM user you use for creating the link the same as the RDM user you use to log in for Link Discovery in DOORS ?
Another story are the links from DOORS to Rhapsody. If you check the link pop-up information in DOORS and make sure to which Rhapsody Tream that link was created. Then make sure that the desired Rhapsody stream is selected in Rhapsody to be able to see the link.

Thanks for the answer I probably will raise a case. Can't see anything about link discovery anywhere, everything is switched on on the project area configuration.
I can make links by pulling requirements out of requirement collections onto diagrams and establishing a dependency there, shows just fine in rhapsody with a little yellow arrow on the requirement as you say and as a dependency, but there is nothing in the links tab on the collaboration view and no link in DOORS, weird!
On a sunny day we can create links in the collaboration view and they appear in both design manager and in doors, but as I say it is unpredictable.
