RQMI Error when trying to start server

Hello,

Hopefully someone can help me with this error I'm experiencing on my RQMI server. Please not the error below:

This is on a windows 2008 R2 Standard server. Please let me know if you require more information. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any chance we could see more of the NPE message?  The parts quoted here are quite generic and not really pointing to a root cause.

Issues can quite often relate to the RQMISVR user not being able to access RQM, or if you have some unusual characters in the password, such as ^.

If you could post more of the error, it should be easier to troubleshoot.

Hi Paul, I also for got to mention that I don't have any project areas setup. Are these needed to get the RQMI server started initially? In case you didn't see my post below. That is in response to your questions.

Hi Randy,

it seems that you receive this error because there is no project area yet. At least I'm able to reproduce your error message if I archive all existing project areas.

Could you please create a project area there your user RQMISVR is a member of and assign a process role to him.
Restart RQMI server and the error should be gone.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for the response. I've posted the entire log with logging level 2 turned on. I'm not sure if this helps or not. Please let me know if there are other places I can look to help determine a root cause.

Also I'm not using any special characters for the RQMISVR password. I also verified that I was able to log in to RQM with the RQMISVR account I created.

Unfortunately this is the whole error, as stated above, if you know another place for me to look to help gather information I would appreciate it. I've changed the https addresses simply for security reasons.
