How to export external links in ReqIF?
I have a module of requirements on server A. This module is exported via ReqIF and imported onto server B.
The collection is then exported via ReqIF from server B and imported on server A. During this process the links between the module artefacts and collection artefacts are lost. If the collection and the module are both exported via ReqIF the links are maintained. However, any changes to the module that occur on server B are also sent back to server A. How can I include links to external artefacts in the ReqIF export? |

DOORS NG 6.0.3 introduces a new feature to ReqIF exports called incremental links. These links refer to the external artefacts but are only created when the linked artefact is also present on the server. This means that server B can export the artefacts in a collection to server A without needing to include the module in the export. |
