RTC - Jenkins Integration. Build User?

Alvaro Munoz (1313) | asked Nov 11 '16, 1:22 p.m.
I'm trying to integrate RTC with Jenkins, and I have a question regarding what user I should use to connect to checkout the code in Jenkins.

Users in RTC are doing both personal and non personal builds. When requesting a personal build, what user should I use in Jenkins to checkout the code from the private workspace?

Or is there any configuration I should have on the project area and a specific user for building? What permissions should it have?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
You need not have to configure a separate user for personal builds, in Jenkins. For both personal and non-personal builds it is recommended to use a dedicated build user with the Jazz Users permission and the Build System license.

Provide process permissions, to the build user, for RTC source control and build operations in the project and team areas that are associated with the RTC build definition corresponding to the Jenkins project.

Thanks,
Sridevi
