Moving a server

I have a production RQM server and I am moving it to new hardware. My
plan is to bring up the new hardware and install RQM leaving the current
production server up and running. I want to make sure everything is
working so I will have to use a different host name to bring up and
install. Then I will bring down the production server and do an export
of the database with repotools and then import into new server. I will
then change the address and host name on the new server to the
production server. Will there be any problems with this procedure.
Does the install and configure under a different hostname get embedded
somewhere I need to know so that the transition is smooth as I can
afford only a minimal outage.

Thanks

Dave
