can this formula " Test Case Development Trend = % cumulative # of test cases developed / cumulative # of test cases planned to be developed." be applied with RQM Queries ??

The Count of  ' Cumulative of test cases developed'  & 'Cumulative of test cases Planned to be developed' is attained from running the queries  by using certain specified filters in  RQM . So how can we use the above metric and attain the final percentage in the tool itself ? Is it possible to do the calculation in dashboard ? And if there , what type of widget can be used to display this final percentage ??

Hi Suganya,

I guess, "Test Matrix" viewlet (available from RQM 6.0.1 release) should help you here. You can group the query results using 2 parameter in the "Test Matrix" viewlet. For your scenario, you can group the query results for "Test Cases Developed" vs "Test Cases Planned to be Developed". You can see the results in Table view, Bar Chart and Column Chart. Hope this will help to solve your problem.

Thanks,
Vijay.

Does this viewlet available for release 6.0.2 ?

Since we work on release 6.0.2 , is there any other widget available to link the RQM queries in RTC dashboard to display the query in Barchart or piechart graphical representation !

Hi Suganya,

Yes, "Test Matrix" widget is available for RQM 6.0.2 release. You can add RQM widget in the RTC dashboard. Select "Quality Management" application in the "Add Widget" window and it will list all the RQM widget. RQM "Test Statistics", "Test Matrix" and "Execution Status by Points" show you query results in Bar chart or Pie chart graphical representation.

Thanks,
Vijay.

Thank you :):)
