jazz server on powerpc

Chris Cawthorne (962819) | asked Dec 13 '07, 12:01 p.m.
I'd like to run a jazz server on a PowerPC box but the only supported linux platform appears to be Redhat Linux Enterprise WS 4, which implies a work-station machine, and I'm not sure if that means intel. Does WS 4 run on any PowerPC box?

I'm running the Jazz server on an AIX box with no problems. All I had to do was replace the existing Linux JDK with the AIX JDK and it worked flawlessly.

Of course it's not supported, but worth a try.

I'll run with a supported configuration if I can and it appears that linux on PowerPC is supported - I was hoping somebody could confirm that Redhat Linux Enterprise WS 4 is the right version of linux
