Unable to create links between DNG and RQM

I am trying to create link (type: validated by) from a requirement in DNG module to a test case in RQM.
Below is the error i come across:

"CRRRW7387E The action cannot be completed because an invalid global configuration was specified. To perform this action, you must be working in a valid global configuration. Select a global configuration that includes the RM project you are working with and try the action again."

What are the configurations required to be done, for me to be able to start linking?

Hi Pragya,

"Cross-project links to versioned artifacts after enabling configuration management"

Do you have configuration management enabled in both the RQM and RM projects and are you set to a valid global configuration?
