I need to export a set of artifacts in CSV, modify in Excel, and import them back into DOORS NG. When I do this, it creates new artifacts....I want to update the original artifacts instead.
In theory you should be able to export the ID column with the rest of the work item information (you need to adjust which rows of information are output). Then when you import again it should give you an option to update the existing IDs.
After further research, it appears this functionality is live as of version 6.0.1. I verified it is available through the Cloud Sandbox (running 6.0.2). Unfortunately I am on 5.0, which is why it isn't working for me.
