RQMExcelImporter doesn't show list of projects

Piotr Aniola (3.7k11738) | asked Aug 17 '16, 8:08 a.m.
Hello,

I tried to get the Excel importer working without much success. I tried different versions of the importer and RQM, installing on different machines, etc, but the result always seems to be the same: the connection test is successful, but the list of projects remains empty. If I put the project name in by hand I get a NullPointerException when trying to start the importing process

If you use it against the jazz.net sandbox, you will very likely have such problem due to the way the reverse proxy is set up there. Try it with a local installed server and see if it makes any difference.

I do have a local server - Excel and the RQM server on the same machine.

It will require some debugging to find out the cause then. I suggest you contact Support as the forum is not a good place for such work.

Piotr is actually  from support team.
The question to ask first is if the user is a member of any project area?
