web client is not opened on Ubuntu

hi,

I have RTC 5.0.1 eclipse plugin installed.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and Eclipse Neon 64bit both.

when I want to open a backlog I get the window that asks me whether to open it on the eclipse or web client. when I choose the web client, I get a download screen of a strange file. see below:

why is that? any suggestion?

*strange... I paste here a screenshot but I don't see it in the post. I tried to attach a jpg of the screenshot but I don't have reputation above 60 so I can't do it... what can I do?
