Hi,
We need to have 2 types of linking while associating DOORS with RTC.
1) Implementation Requests
2) Requirements change Requests.

What is the difference between these 2 link types and why do we need two?

I searched everywhere, i can find how to link DOORS-RTC but there is no statement why there 2 types of links.

Kindly help me understand this.

Thanks,
Praveen

A requirement can be driven by change (e.g. a task to change a requirement) or can drive change (e.g. a task to implement the requirement).   The first kind of link from a task to a requirement is a "requirements change request" (a task to change a requirement).   The second kind of link from a requirement to a task is an "implementation request" (a task to implement the requirement).
