RPE report problem

 Hi,

I am new to RPE. I want to display artifact name from DNG(JKE Banking project) in report. I have created Document template for this and used data source as DNG. From data source, i had just drag and drop artifact title into text field of document template.Then I have connected data source to template using RPE launcher,just pasted artifact permalink into URI of datasource in RPE launcher.when i clicked for preview it can fetched the data from DNG but while generating document it shows blank report,expected to display artifact name. Please help me for this.

Hi Prashant,

While generating document, you should use the data source URI
https://server:port/rm/publish/text?resourceURI=UUID

Please let us know if you still do not see the expected output. I can provide a sample template.

It shows xml when i clicked on data source for preview but report got blank.
Please help me on same.

You can refer the sample template which you can modify slightly so as to use modules URI instead of resources URI

 can you please tell me what URI i have to put?

 URI you have mentioned and URI which i have used earlier not works for this sample template

I used https://server:9443/rm/publish/resources?resourceURI=_b7b97df2561340b3b44b46a51c11121d for testing.
You can try https://server:9443/rm/publish/modules?resourceURI=_b7b97df2561340b3b44b46a51c11121d as well.

 both URI i have used but still it shows blank output. It shows xml when i clicked on data source for preview, so i think there is no problem with my URI. am i right?

Please try appending the vvc information (which can be seen in the permanent link) to the data source URI.

On my machine link get like https://prashant:9443/rm/resources/_d8e6c06d32854c2e9b6fb5aa76ed3974 , it not showing vvc configuration.from where i will get this?

Can you attach a screen shot for Data Preview? Make sure that you see the title under datasource/artifact. You should set the same URI for data source.
