You can not delete components or baselines.

You can change the visibility of a component and its owner to hide it, but deletion is not possible today. I am not a ware of any way to delete baselines. If you change the owner to a specific user and the visibility to that user, the component won't be seen by others any more.

PS: there is no way to say "Oops, I deleted the Baseline that is important for this audit......."

Hi Salman,

In addition to Ralph's comment.

Deleting components  is removing component from stream or workspace:

After you create a component or add a component to a stream or a workspace, you can delete it whenever you want. Deleting a component does not delete the component from the Rational Team Concert™ source control. The delete operation just removes it from the stream or workspace.

Stream: Right click on the stream you get delete option : Make sure you create backup snapshot associated to a work-space.

Note: It doesn't consume much space, I think you can keep it.

Regards,
Arun.

It is important to use unambiguous terminology.
You "remove" a component from a stream, you do not "delete" a component from a stream.
So you currently cannot delete a component.   What you can do is remove a component (from a stream).
