Current Iteration does not move to next iteration as time pass on

Bin Yang (725) | asked Jun 13 '16, 9:53 p.m.
I have Current Iteration setup, and hope Current Iteration automatically move to the next iteration when End Date is passed.   But it is not happening.

Any ideas?

Bin,

The Version I have worked with V4.0.7 you have to manual move the "Current Iteration".

You are supposed to set the current active iteration e.g. as scrum master. It is a process decision to do so and not automated.

Ralph:

Good to know this is the manual process to move Current Iteration forward..

I do think it is a useful feature to have current iteration move automatically, if there are start/end dates configured for iteration.

Thanks.

there is always sprint close out work that needs to be done.. there is no way to do this automatically.  so, when you close the sprint, you advance to the next as you are right there
