IBM RTC 6 WI: age calculation update automatically no dependency

Hello
I would like to know if there is any script that can update the age of the work item attribute without to have dependent other attribute like modified date ? 
I used this example and it works but I would like to have automatically updated without change anything.

Not that I know of. You can also not use the Plain Java API either, because as far as I  can tell attribute customization only works in the RTC Web and the RTC Eclipse UI.
