Workitem link crossed out

It seems like work items listed in an attribute of type "work item list" are crossed out in case they are in a "closed" state in their workflows.

How can I change that without changing the workflow state group?

And what implications would it have if I had to change the workflow state group?

The other term that describes the particular look of the fonts is "strike-through".

Based on the discussion in this work item, the tile of closed work items has the < strike > tag from the server, and is not based on CSS. So it appears impossible to change it.

Thank you very much for your answer! (I searched for a lot but unfortunately not for the term "strike through" so I couldn't find any information on that)

If I want to resolve that by changing the workflow state group, which implications or consequences does that have for my workflow and for the whole process?

Unfortunately I couldn't find that much information about workflow state groups either, just examples which to use when.
