Is there a way to create a RQM report that would show summary of RFT test cases pass/fail status?
I have set up test scripts and assigned to test cases. These test scripts run testsuites on server via RFT. The test cases were then set up in a test plan. I can trigger the test case to execute from the test plan and it finishes successfully but now I want to have a report to show the pass/fail status of all the test cases run in say one day. is this possible? I have looked at the reporting etc but have not found a way yet.

You may consider to create a custom Category for test case for example ScriptType and set the value as RFT(one value for example) in test cases. After running TestCase, you can then go to Test Case Execution Record(TCER) view and use Category ScriptType to Filter the RFT script and create a query with further filter at the date(in the view, you can add Last Result column to show the status of last run and last Modified column to specify the day/day range you are interested in. 
You can add this query to dashboard as well. The closest existing report is Execution Status by Test Case Category using TCER Count (Live) but this report does not provide the result based on a specific day/day range so it may not meet your needs. I haven't tried with JRS report but I think creating a JRS report based on the category could work as expected. Hopefully this helps to move forward. Thanks |
