Hi,
Hope you are doing well, My question is basically regards through a replacement of tomcat server into websphere. Thing is that we have deployed our JTS server included with all applications such as Doors NG, RTC, RQM, RRDI, on TOMCAT. but now our performance is being worst. After doing some search I found about IBM web sphere, and we have to replace our tomcat server into websphere wihout touching any included application with data.
So is there any possible way of doing this? Could it be possible if yes, so please provide ma a detail of resolution or if not so please provide me an alternative of this problem.

Thanks
Gulraiz

As the tools provide more and more features, it is generally not advisable to run them all on one box. See https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/RecommendedALMDeploymentTopologies6 to understand how a topology should look like.
You use a proxy server that hosts the public URI and distribute the applications behind it.

If you want to move to Websphere, you should have LDAP.

The online help has a section about migrating: https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSCP65_6.0.1/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_migrate_overview.html?lang=en there is one for the specific one you are interested in as well.

Another good resource is https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/BackupCLM to understand the data you will have to backup and move.

You can switch to Websphere and you can go distributed environment from Tomcat single all application deployment.
CLM help has the instructions. Depending on the Version of server you have , use CLM help accordingly

For example latest version you can use this help from Switch from Tomcat to WebSphere.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.1/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/t_migrate_tomcat_was.html?lang=en

and then Move applications to their independent profiles on distributed environment if required.
