looking through various sources of documentation i get the feeling that it's possible to add an attribute of presentation kind "wiki" - is this correct ? if so, are there any working examples i can find to hand?
This is correct, the attribute type Wiki is available in RTC and you can add it to the presentation as kind "Wiki". The out of the box Scrum template does not have any attribute of type Wiki, so I suggest you create a new custom attribute to use in your testings.
