How can I get a permalink to a project dashboard in DOORS Next?

Hello!

Is it possible to get a permalink to a project dashboard in Doors Next Generation?
Everywhere in DNG you see the small permalink symbol to get a short link to an artifact, but there is no such symbol in the dashboard.
The URL in the browser looks as if it will not be permanent and dependent on some status or situation.

Thanks for help

Does really nobody have an answer for me?

Is it not possible?

Christian

Dashboards and requirement artifacts are completely different concepts and resources. I think you can't expect the same feature between them.

BTW, what's the use case for a permalink to a dashboard?

Hi,

thanks for answer. Are you sure that it is not possible to have a permanent link?

I just want to link from an external site to the project's dashboard.

The current link looks as if it is not permanent, but dynamic.

Accepted answer

Permanent link
The URL that can be used to link to a project dashboard should look like this:

https://<server:port>/rm/web#action=com.ibm.rdm.web.pages.showFoundationProjectDashboard&projectURI=https://<server:port>/rm/process/project-areas/_yJKSgLqkEeW7ccIhMcq4oQ

where '_yJKSgLqkEeW7ccIhMcq4oQ'  should of course be replaced with your project UID
