Modifying the SYSTEM SERVER DEFAULT SETTING of the RTC "Mail Configuration"

Hi

I was trying to find a way (java api) to modify the SYSTEM SERVER DEFAULT SETTING of the RTC "Mail Configuration", I searched everywhere but can find no information on this. I know how to set an individual's configuration to a custom value, or to the default, but i want to be able to change the system default

This question has been asked here before in varying forms, but has never been answered to my knowledge

If my understanding is correct, the default value will only apply to new user accounts. So if you are trying to find a way to modify the mail configuration for all users, regardless what API you use, it's not going to work, at least for now.
